Never taking a stand

Except for righteousness.

The boy loved animals

Took everything apart

Always looking for its heart.

Sometimes to be saddened

That there was none

In the toy, nor in the home.

 

“Gee, earth is a sad place to roam

Perhaps I can make it better.

Lord, it’ll take more than me,

Give me your very best shot.

And Lord, make it my last one

I’m getting tired, trying to develop.”

 

Quickly in the blink of an eye

Beyond IUD and all

God answered with the final plea

Sending what was best for me.
